Usage/Deployment Instruction
Open the URL: http://<instance ip address>
<instance ip address> : IP address of the running EC2 instance.
Step 1: Select your language. Example – select English
Step 2: Click on - Skip the installation tests
Step 3: Fill the Setup Page form with the following details -
Header user name: Please fill the Header Password as per your choice
Header password: Please fill the Header Password as per your choice
DB host: localhost
DB name: miriegroupwaredb
DB user: miriegroupware
DB password: <instanceID>
Configuration user: Please fill the Header Password as per your choice
Configuration password: Please fill the Header Password as per your choice
Step 4: Click on Write button present at the bottom of the page
Step 5: You will be redirected to another page saying “Created header.inc.php!”. Please click on Continue button.
Step 6: Fill the Config user name and Config password in Setup / config admin login section which you created in above steps and then press login button.
Step 7: Click on Install button in step 1 on Setup – Domain page
Step 8: Click on Re-check the installation button
Step 9: Click Edit Current Configuration button on step 2 on Setup-Domain page
Step 10: Fill following two details on the Setup Domain: default(mysqli) page and then click Save button given at the bottom of the page.
Enter the full path for users and group files. /var/www/egroupware/files
Enter the full path to the backup directory. /var/www/egroupware/backup
Step 11: Click on Create admin account button in Step 3 on Setup – Domain: default(mysqli://miriegroupware@localhost:3306/MIRIeGoupWare)
Step 12: Fill the Details for Admin account form and then click save button.
Now installation is over. Click on the Back to user login link provided in setup main menu section at left side of the page.
Login to the system with the credentials, you filled in Step 12.
SSH using root user is disabled. ec2-user is the sudo user with root privileges with access using the key pair created during launching the instance.
MYSQL can be accessed only with SSH
MYSQL User : root
Password : <instanceID>
Note : You are not supposed to change it.
